Here at Altum we have a more varied armour system. Full diamond armour isn't necessarily the best option for anyone.
Not everyone can weild all kinds of armour, check the classes page for more info.
Crafting[]
Any player can craft Leather Armour. In the server, it serves as a kind of "clothes" armour.
A Blacksmith can craft Gold, Chainmail, Iron and Diamond, too.

Weight[]
All armour in Altum have different weight values. If your weight exceeds 33 points, you will be slowed down at the rate of a Slowness 2 potion.
Armour weights are as such:
Leather[]
- Leather Helmet: 1
- Leather Chest: 5
- Leather Legs: 4
- Leather Boots: 1
Chainmail[]
- Chainmail Helmet: 3
- Chainmail Chest: 10
- Chainmail Legs: 5
- Chainmail Boots: 3
Gold[]
- Gold Helmet: 3
- Gold Chest: 10
- Gold Legs: 7
- Gold Boots: 4
Iron[]
- Iron Helmet: 5
- Iron Chest: 15
- Iron Legs: 10
- Iron Boots: 5
Diamond[]
- Diamond Helm: 10
- Diamond Chest: 20
- Diamond Legs: 15
